Some definite news at last. Pat McCarthy, the editor of our national fortnightly newspaper 'NZ Catholic', has told me that the team which produces the paper's 'Think Page' for young people is going to maintain the paper's Web site also. There might be some fresh content on the site as early as next Sunday fortnight (22 October)

Mike Griffiths' former students remember him as a teacher who had the knack of being able to motivate and encourage, and make information clear. The degree of esteem and affection in which the long-serving Kavanagh College teacher was held led to more than 400 students, former students, staff, parents and friends filling St Joseph's Cathedral to overflowing for his funeral service on Saturday, September 16 ...
