Auckland: A South Auckland decile 1 school has won top spot in an annual Metro magazine review of the city’s schools. The magazine named McAuley High School in Otahuhu as most likely to improve its students’ academic performance. St Mary’s College, Sacred Heart College, Dilworth School and Carmel College also rated well. At the bottom of the list were James Cook High School, Green Bay High School, Whangaparaoa College, Kelston Boys’ High School and Waiuku College.
