NZ CATHOLIC BISHOPS' CONFERENCE

** As we approach Social Justice week from 3 to 9 September, let's explore how the Church's social teaching helps us to challenge the status quo in society both here and overseas. Join us for this free online event

** Social Justice Week begins on Sunday 3 September, with the focus on peace and responding to conflict.
Substantial resources are available to download from Caritas Aotearoa NZ here: www.caritas.org.nz/parishes/social-justice-week

** Friday September 1 marks the beginning of the month-long Season of Creation. The theme for 2023 is "Let Justice and Peace flow like a river," inspired by the prophet Amos who cries out "But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!" (Amos 5: 24).
