Father David Mullins gave up his ticket to Gallipoli in exchange for a
period of quiet contemplation. The retired Catholic priest was set to
visit where his father served in WWI as part of the Anzac centennial
commemorations after being selected for a double pass in the New
Zealand Gallipoli ballot last year.

Gore's St Peter's College broke with tradition and held its Anzac Day
service on Tuesday. Pupils placed crosses, with the names of fallen

world wants to survive it has to have a different view of God. "He's

deserves." With those sorts of thoughts it's not surprising that when
Sister Noelene returned to St Joseph in 2003, where she was a
novitiate in the 1960's, she looked at the five hectare property with
