2021 Ecumenical Christmas Church Service from St Anne's Catholic Church Wellington (audio, and full text with illustrations)
This ecumenical service brings together ministers and laypeople from Anglican, Presbyterian, Methodist, Catholic, and Quaker denominations to celebrate Christmas. Music and words in English, te reo Maori, Niuean, Tongan and Fijian mark the cross-cultural nature of the event.

Spokeswoman Lyndsay Freer says the limit of 100 vaccinated people in one place makes it difficult to gather for worship. She says the cathedral in the heart of Auckland has up to eight-thousand people for Christmas mass, and her own parish has 16-hundred.
