A Catholic nun and longtime advocate for HIV sufferers and human rights has
died from cancer. Sister Paula Brettkelly, a nun of the Sisters of St Joseph
of Nazareth, volunteered through the New Zealand Aids Foundation for more
than 19 years. She also volunteered tirelessly for the Human Rights
Commission and for understanding of Treaty of Waitangi issues...

It's a sign from above! A court has told the Auckland City Council to
reconsider its ban on advertising billboards at a Catholic primary school â€"
used to help fund teaching for special-needs students...

Revenue contributes to special needs education and charity

Auckland City Council has been ordered to look again at an application for
billboards by outdoor ad company Oggi at an Auckland school. Since 1992 the
three billboards at St Francis Primary School in Montrose Street, Pt
Chevalier, have provided large sums of money for charities and for teaching
special needs children. However, the funding came under threat when the
council changed its bylaws...

Vineyard Ltd is in the process of turning the shores of Lake Benmore into

campers special conditions apply to the Falstone area and it will be closely
monitored by security guards...
