World Youth Day Cross and Icon at Parliament (22 Jun 2007)

On Tuesday 19 June, the World Youth Day Cross and Icon were in Wellington on
Day 10 of the 18-day pilgrimage through New Zealand. There have been many
highlights during these days - at schools, parishes, in procession and at
places of spiritual and historical significance - but especially in the
quiet times of prayer and reflection when people paused to consider the
meaning of the cross in the life of every Christian. The welcome of the
Cross and Icon in the grounds of Parliament was one of these special
occasions...
