A function to honour Mr Wenceslaus Anthony on his selection for the
New Zealand Order of Merit for furthering New Zealand-Trade Relations
was held at the Te Whau hall of St Mary's Church, Avondale on Sunday
23 February. This was the first time that the Order of Merit was given
in this category, and that it was awarded to a new migrant to New
Zealand made it special.
