NZ CATHOLIC BISHOPS' CONFERENCE

NZCBC on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CatholicNZ/

DEAR READERS: For some reason, I can only access the NZCBC Facebook page indirectly through Google's cache - hence the funny look - and one day behind:
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:a-Nvve7O3K8J:https://www.facebook.com/CatholicNZ/&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=nz

** The Wellington-based Sisters of Compassion have decided to re-elect their current leadership team: Sister Margaret Anne Mills, Sister Sue Cosgrove, Sister 'Alisi Tu'ipulotun and Sister Lusiana Raratini.

** Caritas YCC Day is on June 30 for all Catholic schools across Aotearoa NZ. Our bishops are excited about the event and the possibility of us all joining in solidarity to support Oecusse School in Timor-Leste.

** 24 May is the feast day of Our Lady Help of Christians. To celebrate, tamariki from St Joseph's School in Opotiki sing Mo Maria in their next-door parish church - Our Lady Help of Christians.

** Attention parish liturgy groups! The National Liturgy Office has four current web pages with resources for: •21 May: Solemnity of the Ascension •21-28 May: Week of Prayer for Christian Unity •21-28 May: Laudato si' week •28 May: Pentecost Sunday.
