An outpouring of love and grief for a South Korean teenager continued
yesterday in Whangarei. Eighteen-year-old student SangJe Lee died on Monday,
hours after being run over in a hit-and-run incident at Okara shopping
centre. His heartbroken father SeungJe Lee told those who went to farewell
SangJe at a funeral service in Pompallier Catholic College's hall that
although he had lost his only child, he had also gained many sons and
daughters...

Catholic sister, from the Sisters of Mercy, and co-ordinator of facilitators
for Restorative Justice Otago was in Invercargill yesterday to speak at
Unifem Southland's breakfast to celebrate International Women's Day...

20,000 Auckland children attended Catholic schools. Patriarch of the faith
for nearly half a century was James Michael Liston, the Archbishop of
Auckland...

Heather Roy is an ACT MP with 5 kids. Like many, she finds herself against
what she sees as government intrusion into our families with the
"anti-smacking" bill ...

Inspirational TV's excellent 'Angel in the City' series of readings and
commentary on the Gospels is two weeks behind due to technical difficulties
which have yet to be ironed out. But they will be ... ML

Ecology makes the Catholic mega-trend list
Perhaps the week in which Al Gore turned green into gold by winning an Oscar
