It took 20 years for justice to be delivered. In March 1990 Elvis Dobson Shepherd began a pattern of sexual offending against male students that would not see the light of day. That was until last week. Shepherd, Hato Paora College's suspended principal, was found guilty of abusing teenage boys in his care during his time at a Maori Catholic boarding school in Auckland.
