Mighty oaks from little acorns grow - at least, former Teschemakers' Catholic girls' boarding school pupil Willie Campbell hopes so. She has an oak tree grown from an acorn from the oaks at Teschemakers, just south of Oamaru, which will be planted in the former school grounds to mark the centenary of the school's opening.
