In a survey of 1000 New Zealanders, taken a month after the Christchurch mosque shootings of 15 March 2019, we asked respondents how much they trusted people from different religious groups living in New Zealand. We posed the question with reference to Catholics, Protestants, Evangelical Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, atheists or agnostics, and Jews. Pope Francis, in 2018, explained that we all can be holy. Being a Saint is not limited to high profile individuals. We all have a part to play in our communities. If we follow the values that Jesus taught, this help can improve the worlds we live in.
We need your help to tell the stories of the Saints that live in your world. Your hero could be a coach, teacher, friend, neighbour or family member. If you can capture the special things they do, then you could win yourself some cool new technology. Registration deadline: 23 August 2019. Entries must be submitted online by 30 August 2019.
