Monastery on market
https://www.tamahereforum.co.nz/2020/05/13/monastery-on-market/
The Monastery, one of Tamahere's most storied properties, is on the market again. The stately Newell Rd home has a long history, starting its life in Insoll Ave, Hamilton in 1906 where it was built for the Primrose family and named 'Dalmeny' after a Scottish manor house of the same name. In 1952, the Catholic Church bought the house, which became a retreat for priests and earned it the name, The Monastery. It was moved to Tamahere in 1990. STATION XV

http://station15.co.nz/

Episode 150 — COVID, Courage, Conscience, Confession (May 15, 2020)

In a bumper 150th episode of The 15th Station, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic dominates the show. This month, the focus is on the return to public worship in New Zealand (or lack thereof), as well as the courage of priests and medical staff in providing bodily and spiritual care to COVID sufferers. Anna, Don, James and Gavin also look at attempts to refuse to administer euthanasia if legislation is passed in New Zealand and consider Pope Benedict's latest biography. Maybe what we all need is a bit of confession by delivery. Enjoy the show — and stay safe out there.
