the memories Susanna Kraus has of life as a young woman in Wellington.
She also swam, played tennis, table tennis and basketball (netball),
then surprised most of her contemporaries by taking a completely new
path. Aged 21, Susanna joined a religious order, the Sisters of Mercy.

Sunday drive were a farming couple who were known for their
kind-hearted giving. Cyril Kubala, 86, and his wife Margaret, 81, from
Gore, were reported missing after they failed to return from a drive

The Canterbury Catholic Diocese has sold the damaged St. Brendan's
church in Templeton to developers. The church is likely to be
demolished and the diocese will use the money to upgrade facilities
